Starting the School Area + I'm Gonna Start Updating Monthly, Instead!

Back again with some minor updates!

For the next scene, I had to make an entire sprite sheet of school characters. Luckily for the main characters in the scene I’d already finished up all of their sprites for this scene or I think I would have gone ape™ shit™.

Been trying to compose some new music for this scene, but in all honesty my drive for making music is sorta… not there right now, so I’ll just have to come back and add in some new stuff later. For now, I’m probably gonna use the RPG Maker default music as a placeholder. (Town1 is an absolutely amazing track which has not been overused to hell and back in VX Ace games at all…)

I did have to edit one character’s sprite though, their hair was nowhere near short enough compared to their portrait, plus, it looked wayyy too similar to their older/grown up version, and that irked me.

I’m adding in another fight soon, it will be in this scene, and… wait for it… there’s gonna be TWO ENEMIES!!!

I’m not going to have it be too much of a difficult fight, and I’ll likely be making less animations for them, but it’ll still take me a short while to get that fight started.

For now, I’m focusing on refining everything I have; truth be told, I’m tired after a weekend with friends (chronically ill introverts unite!) so, it’ll take me a few days to really recover, making smaller edits/refining later parts of the story is what I like to do on days when motivation is low. Like, I really hate sitting still and doing nothing at all – drives me absolutely insane. (I know when to take breaks, dw.)

Now, monthly updates:

There’s two common themes in these updates:

• Me not being able to talk about much without spoiling things.
• Me rambling about stuff which may or may not be related.

To hopefully combat this a little, I'm going to start updating every month, instead. I'll have to pick a consistent day, but I think I'll keep it to either the last Monday of every month, or the last Sat/Sun if they're closer to the last day? 

Either way, I'll likely wait until the last part of next month to update everyone again. I'll be clear here, and say that there probably will be rambling still, but there'll be more stuff to talk about to counteract it.
