Refulgent (PARTS 1-2-3)

Refulgent is a visual novel with sporadic RPG elements. It has themes that may not be appropriate for those under the age of eighteen; i.e., adult themes and sexuality without any actual NSFW.

Taking place in the fictional city of Angel's Light, UK - Follow a large cast of characters, as they get wrapped up in a strange conspiracy regarding: a corrupt mayor, magical powers, and an alien goat girl.

The game features an original art style, an original soundtrack, and a story which is also... you guessed it, original!

So, what is Refulgent about, anyway? It's about a lot of things. It's about trauma, identity, friendship, love... There are many themes that the game explores through its story. (And, it's very gay!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️)

The game features a complex character and plot driven narrative, which is difficult to summarise succinctly. Though, if you would like some slightly more in depth summaries of every part so far... SEE HERE! :)

The game does deal with heavy subject matter rather frequently. The appropriate content warnings are in the readme.txt file, and in the game itself. (They can be toggled on and off in the options menu!)

The first three parts can take anywhere from 2, to 3 and a half hours to finish. This depends on how much you like to interact with the environment when playing an RPG.

Once the game is complete, you can skip through text using the SHIFT key. As well as this, a part selection mode and a speedrun mode are unlocked!
